Propulsion and electricity

Propulsion

Engine

  • Perkins Prima M80T (80 hp, turbo)
    • Runs perfectly, 3L/h at 5kts
    • Reconditioned in 2019 at 4100 hours.
    • 1550 hours since reconditioning (increasing)
    • Numerous spare parts (filters, impeller, seals, seawater pump, etc.)
    • Serviced on time (annual oil change, diesel and oil filters replaced).
  • Metal waterlock: in case you forget to open the seawater intake or if there is a problem with the seawater pump, it doesn’t melt, so no flooding from backflow… (common with plastic waterlocks).
  • Hurth gearbox (2006)
  • AMEL transmission
  • 3-blade Autoprop H6 propeller
  • Original 3-blade fixed spare propeller
  • Diesel tank: 600L, manual gauge.

  • Victron 24V=>220V 1200W inverter allowing you to use any 220V equipment you choose (such as the microwave, or to power the boat’s 220V sockets like at home)
  • 2nd 24V => 220V inverter at the chart table, powers one socket at the chart table and 2 sockets in the saloon and forward cabin
  • 4 monocrystalline solar panels of 175W => 700W
  • Victron MPPT regulator 2021 with Bluetooth access
